The Emmenez-moi festival will launch the public into the discovery of historical and natural heritage

The Emmenez-moi festival proposed by the Department of Seine-et-Marne launches the public into the discovery of historical and natural heritage, from June 28 to July 14. Over three weekends, an artistic and cultural program will reveal the unusual and little-known heritage gems of Seine-et-Marne: shows in the ruins of a castle or in a former industrial site, immersive adventures in a medieval site , strolls through picturesque villages… Everything is free and accessible to all.

Created in 2018 by the Department of Seine-et-Marne, the Emmenez-moi festival is an unmissable event for the curious, amateurs and lovers of heritage and culture. 200 activities are offered to (re)discover exceptional sites and places in the region in a different way.

For its sixth year, the Emmenez-moi festival will take visitors on the weekends of June 28 to 30, July 5 to 7 and July 12 to 14, to discover the historical heritage of 21 Seine-et-Marnais sites, including 5 new: the Château Saint-Ange de Villecerf, the village of Guérard and its wine heritage, Bray-sur-Seine, the villages of Gâtinais (Burcy, Fromont and Rumont), and the town of Chelles, guest of honor of the festival, which will host for the occasion the filming of the show “À tout berzingue!” » by Lorànt Deutsch, to contemplate the banks of the Marne, the Villa Max or the transport museum.

Véronique Veau, vice-president in charge of culture and heritage, underlines: “By allowing a wide audience to discover the richness of the cultural and natural heritage of our department far from the beaten track, the Emmenez-moi Festival contributes to creating a real cultural and tourist dynamic which is established over the long term and brings together more and more people and of local actors. »

The programming is intended to be original, immersive and participatory: visit a museum in a different way, take a creative ride or investigate with actors in a heritage site.

Numerous events will combine sport and culture in the program: concerts, dance, shows, workshops, acrobatics, exhibitions, conferences, etc.

Emma Abreu, departmental advisor responsible for cultural heritage, adds: “In connection with the Art and Disability Center in which the Department participates, we also wanted to increase the number of inclusive artistic proposals in all territories. »
