This Saturday, July 6th, starting at 10am, Lenny Pelleter will be signing his first novel, “L’Ecole”, published by Maïa last May, at Librairie Le Neuf. As an aside, he is the first former intern in the history of Le Neuf to come and sign his first novel.

Synopsis of “The School”:

Hugues Vincent, a former police officer with violent tendencies, is fired from the police after violently attacking a drug dealer. Despite years of unstable behavior, he escaped prison. Determined to understand the source of his madness, he returns to his hometown, Saint-Arnold, a foggy and deserted city. In his childhood home, he faces disturbing memories of his violent past, as well as nightmares involving a mysterious mime from his preschool. Hugues is determined to discover if these nightmares have a link with his descent into hell and to demystify the truth behind these enigmatic memories.
