A shooting on a fast-food terrace left one dead and one injured on June 3rd in Saumur (Maine-et-Loire). A 21-year-old man was killed and another 20-year-old injured in the hand during this shooting which took place on rue du Général-de-Gaulle.
Two suspects in custody
« Tuesday June 25a 25-year-old man, suspected of being the perpetrator of the fatal shootings, and a 26-year-old woman, suspected of being the driver of the car which allowed the attacker to flee, were arrested in the Tours region (Indre-et-Loire)”, report our colleagues from Ouest-France.
” A judicial information had been opened on June 8 at criminal division of the Angers judicial court for murder and attempted murder (against X) and for complicity of these same crimes, indicates the public prosecutor of Angers, Eric Bouillard in a press release. A 19-year-old man was indicted for complicity in murder and attempted murder and placed in pre-trial detention.
He continues: “On June 25, 2024, in the evening, investigators from the DIPN (Interdepartmental Directorate of the National Police) of Angers arrested two people wanted since the beginning as possibly being the shooter and the woman who was driving the vehicle. This is a 25 year old man and 26 year old woman who were in the area of Tours. A jail is in progress within the framework of the rogatory commission issued by the investigating magistrate.
