The Consum’actors challenge organized by the Villein partnership with the Metropolis of Greater Paris et Ecolyhas just ended and many of you participated for a first edition, well done to you!
This challenge was a moment of sharing between traders and Garchois and allowed for joint action for the environment: 212 eco-friendly actions were taken!
An opportunity for everyone to learn new behaviors, to discover eco-friendly actions to consume better and more locally, to move towards sobriety, to be more inclusive in everyday life and to share your actions on the photo wall, a sample of examples below:
This period of challenge was an opportunity to (re)discover your neighborhoods with 22 local partner actors et 39 events organized.
During the challenge, a participant and a local actor were particularly committed and will therefore be rewarded with a trophy. Here they are :
- Citizens Trophy : Florianne Remy
- Local Actors Trophy : the association Le Panier d’Albert (AMAP)
THE trophies will be postponed on July 4 at 5:30 p.m. within the premises of Basket of Albert and the Hive that says Yes au 90 Grande rue in Garches under the La Place Coworking space.
Finally, to end this challenge in style, the city organized, Thursday June 27 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., a guided tour to meet local artisans and traders in order to discover their know-how. The opportunity for the Garchois to go sightseeing in their own town!
A big thank you to the artisans and merchants selected by the city on the theme of local crafts for being able to transmit their passion to the audience: The shoemaker of the town hall and his apprentice in training at the EREA Jean Monet school; The association Albert’s Basket offering products and vegetables from local producers; The cabinetmaker Romain De Soos and his apprentice restoring collectible objects and furniture dating from the 18th century; There Gallery Viozelange who organized an artists’ exhibition on the theme of reusing materials and who invited the milliner and feather artist Georgine Glaenzer for the occasion; The chocolatier Version Originale with its “original” and delicious creations, la Fromagère From’ Garches and his beautiful collection of dairy products refined by him and finally Tom’c grocery store promoting regional and even Garchois products!
