Nokia has decided to go nostalgic by bringing out the iconic and unbreakable Nokia 3210, for a little throwback to the 90s.

The retro phone is (a little) popular. And that’s perhaps why Nokia decided to get in on the action by releasing what is probably the most emblematic of all phones in history: the Nokia 3210, the quintessential 1990s phone , unbreakable and equipped with the legendary Snake. The brand is thus riding the wave of “dumbphones” which are positioned in opposition to smartphones, for a digital detoxification cure (and for nostalgia).

Needless to say, the new Nokia 3210 has very limited functionality: you won’t be able to scroll on networks, or even use WhatsApp, on this keyboard phone with only 64 small megabytes of RAM, and 128 MB of storage, and you will have to settle for good old SMS. On the other hand, the return to the 90s will be more positive for the battery, which will thus have several days of autonomy with 1452 mAh. Even the camera is retro, with only 2 megapixels. We also find good old Snake!

The new 3210 will not be completely stuck in the past either, since it will have 4G in order to have quality sound, Bluetooth, a USB-C port (European regulations require) and a double slot for the SIM card. It can also access the internet (but only in 4G, no question of WiFi).

The design of the “modern” Nokia 3210, however, is not quite that of its venerable ancestor, even if it retains its main lines.
