First round of the 2024 legislative elections: in Hauts-de-Seine, 18.47% participation at midday

18.47% at 12 noon. This is an increase in participation (+ 1.83 points) which is observed in the Hauts-de-Seine department, and at the height of the political stakes. In 2022, participation in this first round of the legislative elections was 16.64% at 12 noon and 37.08% at 5 p.m. However, this is less than at the national level where participation stands at 25.9% at midday. Polling stations will be open until 8 p.m.

Find on our dedicated pages the candidates in your constituency and, on June 30 from 8 p.m., the results of the first round of the legislative elections in Paris, Lyon, Marseille and throughout France.

Only then will the first official figures be known. In 2022, out of 1,004,159 people registered on the electoral lists in the department, the participation rate in the first round was 53.29% and 52.09% in the second round. The department had rather been won by the presidential majority, in particular thanks to the presence of several members of the government and the majority.

Among the 104 candidates in the department, Gabriel Attal is running in the 10th constituency, and Prisca Thévenot in the 8th. It must be said that the 92 is a stronghold of Emmanuel Macron, who obtained 80.4% of the votes cast there against Marine Le Pen, candidate of the National Rally, during the presidential election. It remains to be seen whether the dissolution and loss of momentum of the presidential majority will also be observed in the Hauts-de-Seine.
