The Welche country trail will notably pass over the Vosges ridges

The Orbey Running Club is organizing the 16th edition of the Trail du Pays Welche, an unmissable event for mountain running enthusiasts. It will take place on Saturday, July 6, 2024, starting from Orbey, in Alsace, and promises to seduce participants with its varied and picturesque routes through the trails of the Welche country.
The Trail du Pays Welche offers an exceptional natural setting, with paths, rocky trails, areas covered with blueberries and ferns, as well as passages through stubble and forests. Runners will also have the opportunity to enjoy the Vosges ridges, offering breathtaking landscapes.
In the program :
- Trail du Pays Welche: 52.2 km with 2290 meters of positive elevation gain (D+)
- Relay you Which : 22.3 km with 1340m D+ + 29.9 km with 950m D+
- The Balconies of Orbey: 26.4 km with 1000m D+
- The Faudé Tower: 10.2 km with 440m D+ (new for this edition)
The 26.4 km and 52.2 km races are part of the UTMB® World Series Qualifier circuit as well as the Trophée des Vosges 2024, adding an additional competitive dimension for trail enthusiasts.
This event is a unique opportunity for runners of all levels to test their limits in a natural and beautiful environment.
