On Sunday October 6, the Côte de Nuits will host the traditional Marathon des Grands Crus, an unmissable event for running and wine lovers. Whether you are with family, friends or colleagues, this day promises to be a memorable experience to share.

This year, the Marathon des Grands Crus is diversifying with several events: the traditional marathon, a half-marathon, as well as 10 km and 5 km races. The marathon will start in Dijon, with a loop course that will take runners above the majestic Château du Clos de Vougeot before returning to the city. Participants will have six hours to cover the 42.195 kilometers of the course.

The half-marathon will start in Chambolle-Musigny, offering runners a unique chance to travel the famous Grands Crus tourist route. Along the way, they will pass through picturesque villages like Marsannay-la-Côte, Fixin, Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambolle-Musigny, finally reaching the finish line in Dijon.

One of the most popular aspects of the Marathon des Grands Crus is the fusion of running and wine tasting. Along the route, refreshment points will offer not only refreshments, but also wine tastings, allowing participants to discover the region’s prestigious wines.
