After of long months of investigationinvestigators from the narcotics squad of the local judicial police service (SLPJ) of Melun Val de Seine have just dismantled a major prostitution networkwho had settled in two buildings in Melun (Seine et Marne), at 30 and 36 rue Dajot, not far from the station.

The building that marked the end of Jean-Pierre Treiber’s escape

The first address mentioned has already been the subject of a major police operation: it was here that Jean-Pierre Treiber’s escape ended in 2009… Fifteen years later, the unit in charge of the fight against pimping received information about a possible network operating in these places.

Announcements have been placed on the site Sexemodel and customers are then redirected to apartments in these two buildings, rented via specialized platforms. The ride, set up in early 2022, would generate lucrative revenues with the operation of five Paraguayan prostitutes.

Discreet surveillance of apartments is set up by the police, who also carry out telephone tapping. Several people are identified and, with the help of the Regional intervention group (Gir), checks are carried out on the bank accounts of the accused.

At the Samois-sur-Seine address, the police will also get their hands on 1.6 kg of cannabis200 grams of grass and nearly €2,000 in cash. An incidental procedure was opened after this discovery, at the Fontainebleau police station.

In front of the police, the individuals are said to have minimized the facts and three of them were brought before the Melun public prosecutor’s office on Thursday, June 27, 2024. A magistrate gave them a summons by verbal report and they were placed under judicial supervisionpending hearing.

And real estate agent 40-year-old arrested in Val-de-Marne had his apartment worth €52,000 seized, “which he knowingly made available,” according to a source close to the case. The police also seized a sum of €35,000.

Two Paraguayans aged 20 and 28, also suspected of belonging to the network, will also be brought before the courts at a later date. Nineteen telephones used by the alleged members of this network were also confiscated by investigators.
