Saumur Val de Loire. Help for the purchase of washable diapers

As part of the Local Waste Prevention Program, in order to encourage residents of the area to reduce the weight of household waste, Kyrielle is launching a financial support action for the purchase of washable diapers from July 1, 2024. The offer is simple: for the purchase of a washable diaper kit, Kyrielle will reimburse any resident of the Saumur Val de Loire Agglomeration up to 50% (up to €75 including tax). A kit consisting of waterproof panties and an absorbent insert (the parts can be detachable or sewn). Depending on the results of the
Characterization of household waste carried out in 2023 by OPTAE and thanks to funding from ADEME, sanitary textiles represent 23% of the weight of household waste. Sanitary textiles are often single-use consumables: diapers, sanitary towels, cotton pads, cotton buds. For example, a baby produces more than a ton of used diapers from birth to potty training. Kyrielle offers an ecological and economical alternative by financially supporting parents who wish to use washable diapers.
