Lhe group of architects selected for the design of the new building of the École Pratique des Hautes Études (EPHE) – PSL on the Aubervilliers site of the Condorcet Campus has been selected. The Public Establishment Campus Condorcet (EPCC), project owner of the operation, and the EPHE – PSL entrusted the project to the Explorations Architecture / Atelier Téménides Architectes group.

With a floor area of ​​approximately 8,000 m2the future building will include two entities: a “Knowledge Base” which will bring together the reception, a teaching center, a multipurpose room and premises of the EPCC; and a “Research Pavilion” which will house the administration of the EPHE – PSL, the institutes and the laboratories on five levels of approximately 600 m2 each. The base will extend 55 meters long and 30 meters wide, with a triple height, and will be topped by a green roof terrace.

In addition to the EPHE – PSL, the building (built with bio-sourced and sustainable materials) will house additional shared premises across the Campus. It will notably house 20 classrooms and seminar rooms (from 8 to 100 seats), a 150-seat auditorium, a multi-purpose room, offices, meeting rooms and adjoining premises designed to accommodate around 180 workstations.

The work should take place in 2026 and 2027 with delivery scheduled for 2028. The cost of the project is estimated at 19.5 million euros (excluding taxes).
