From July 3rd, at 1 p.m., a Saint-Geniérois, Yvan Loiseau by his stage name, will perform at the OFF festival in Avignon in It’s like thata one-hour show to change the world, at the Isle theater, 80 rue des Trois Pilats. A show by and with Yvan Loiseau and directed by Marc Cassar and Theodora Carla.

Yvan is the author and performer of this show. He now lives in Paris, but spent his entire childhood in the small village of Gard. He is a multidisciplinary artist who uses artistic practices to talk about the world and the human condition. In addition to theater, he is also known for his latest installation, a 2.5 kilometer long table connecting Saint-Ouen to Saint-Denis, in Ile de France, and which has already brought together 10,000 people. The actor, during his show, will question the difficulty of living together in our world, based on examples from everyday life, while mixing his personal story and making the audience interact.

This show is a mixture of black humor, poetry, absurdity, rage and incomprehension, but also a beautiful ode to love to make us realize that tomorrow belongs to us.

On a stage, almost bare, the author-actor shares his troubles with us in order to better construct our thoughts.

A play that speaks of the desire to change the world to make it more beautiful and more just, which mixes dark humor, poetry and rage. We could not dream of better in this period, so as not to forget that tomorrow belongs to us.
