Questembert community is relaunching its summer shuttle service for the seventh consecutive year, with a big novelty this year, it will run from July 2, a week earlier, and until September 29. With departure and arrival in Damgan (Place des cirques car park), or in Rochefort-en-Terre (Maury transport depot)

With the shuttle, residents and vacationers can enjoy multiple summer activities in complete peace: stroll through the streets of Rochefort-en-Terre, one of the most beautiful villages in France, enjoy the Moulin Neuf Aventure leisure center or numerous assets of the seaside resort of Damgan (beaches, typical port of Pénerf, etc.).

Two lines will be deployed for the summer with stops in each of the 13 municipalities in the region.

“The ambition of this service is to promote and facilitate alternative mobility solutions to the individual car,” explains Boris Lemaire, vice-president in charge of ecological transition and mobility.

“As a tourist office, we are really delighted with this system, because it really allows us to reestablish links between the coast and the back-coastal, it is also essential in the tourism dynamics of the department,” says Nicolas Jean, director of Rochefort-en-Terre Tourism. Adding, “there is a connection between Rochefort-en-Terre and the leisure center, which is a few hundred meters away on foot. The very interesting diversity of activities between the village which offers built heritage activities. And then the new mill is nature and leisure, a real breath of fresh air.”

Questembert community finances this operation with around 8,000 euros. The revenue was around 2,500 € last year and 1,250 travelers including a hundred from Damgan.
