On July 12, the Olympic Flame will cross the Côte-d’Or, marking a memorable stage of its journey through 64 French departments. This day will be celebrated in 8 cities of the department with spectacular entertainment and events, where the Flame relay promises an unforgettable experience.
In Beaune, the 3rd stage of the department, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:40 p.m., the Flame Relay will extend over a 5 km route, starting in the vineyards with 25 torchbearers. The start will be given on Chemin de l’Ecu then Avenue des Stades to the Stade Jean Desangle, Rue Faubourg-Saint-Nicolas, Boulevard du Maréchal Foch, Avenue de la République in front of the Basilica Notre-Dame, Place de la Halle, Hôtel-Dieu, Boulevard Bretonnière and Avenue du Général de Gaulle in the opposite direction to the Cité des Climats et Vins de Bourgogne.
Please note that traffic will be blocked during the event and no cars should be parked on the route.
This stage will be marked by collective enthusiasm and a variety of activities to celebrate the Olympic spirit.

The animations
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. “Beaune supporter of the Flame” Four events will mark the Relay in the City.
The start will be given by the Rugby Club, CS Beaune. Then, athletics will be honored at the Stade Jean Desangle. The Hôtel-Dieu des Hospices de Beaune will receive the Flame alongside the Cercle d’Escrime Beaunois before passing it on to the Cité des Climats et vins de Bourgogne.
12:15 p.m. – 2 p.m. Celebration of the arrival of the Flame – BMX Demo and Jazz Music Group – City of Climates and Wines
3 p.m. – 9 p.m. Youth Festival around the Olympic Theme – Youth Space Promenade des Buttes

The Hôtel-Dieu des Hospices de Beaune will be exceptionally closed until 1 p.m. The Cité des Climats et vins de Bourgogne will be exceptionally closed until 1:30 p.m.
