Two women pushed open the door of the Alençon (Orne) police station to complain about savage bites. The facts would have occurred at the Music Festival, Friday June 21, 2024 in the evening. They were taken care of by the Samu and the Alençon-Mamers intercommunal hospital center for analyses.
Their testimonies diverge, in particular on the age of the people involved, which does not make it possible to establish a single responsibility. An investigation was opened by the Alençon police station.

During the 2022 Music Festival, the firefighters intervened near the Halle aux Toiles for suspected bites.
Numerous cases of bites reported in France
In addition to Alençon, other cases of bites have also been reported in many cities in France, whether in Laval (Mayenne) in Sables-d’Olonne (Vendée) via Vence (Alpes-Maritimes).
Between January and August 2022, according to the data then transmitted to West France by the Ministry of the Interior, 2,053 complaints, mainly from young women, had been filed in France for acts of “suspected administration of harmful substances by injection”.
