GERMANY: – MODERATIVE LOSSES EXPECTED – The German stock market should experience a further decline in the Dax on Tuesday. Broker IG estimated that Germany’s flagship index lost 0.51% to 18,233 points just over two hours before trading began on the Xetra market. The day before, the Dax had approached the 50-day line for the medium-term trend, but remained slightly below it at the close. The Dax therefore remains for the moment looking for direction, even if it has already recovered somewhat from the losses due to political risks concerning France. In the United States, technology stocks fell, with shares of artificial intelligence flagship Nvidia suffering significant losses, while the flagship Dow Jones Industrial index continued to gain ground. According to experts, the sector’s rally, which had fueled the bull market, was able to breathe a little.

USA: – TECHS DECLINE – On Wall Street, the Dow Jones Industrial continued its previous good week on Monday and continued to progress. It is now returning to its levels at the end of May. In the technology sector, the acceleration of the fall in Nvidia shares weighed on investor morale. Observers say the chip group’s falling share price could indicate that the rally in the sector, which fueled the bull market, is now taking a breather. The Nasdaq 100, dominated by technology stocks, ended down 1.15% at 19,474.62 points. The S&P 500 index fell 0.31% to 5447.87 points. The benchmark Dow rose 0.67% to 39,411.21 points.

ASIA: – HIGHER GAINS – The main Asian stock markets mainly advanced on Tuesday. They thus resisted the weakness of American technology stocks, on which investors continued to cash in after a strong run. In Tokyo, the flagship Japanese Nikkei 225 index gained 0.8% shortly before the end of the session. In China’s Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the tech-heavy Hang-Seng Index rose about 0.5%. On the other hand, the CSI 300 index, which brings together the main stocks in mainland China, was down moderately at the end of the session.
