Arras: back-to-school nominations

Here are the appointments for the 2024 school year in the diocese of Arras

By decision of Mgr Olivier Leborgne:

from May 1, 2024

• Father Liobo Jean BOLA, while continuing his other responsibilities, is appointed administrator of the Saints-Pierre-et-Paul parish in Bruaysis.
• Ms. Blandine COCQUET is appointed coordinator for the pastoral transformation of the diocese.

from September 1, 2024

• Mrs. Isabelle MOUFFLIN is appointed head of the diocesan “funeral watch” team.
• Mr. Jacques SENELLART junior, deacon, is appointed diocesan delegate for relations with Muslims.
• Father Pierre POIDEVIN, while continuing his other responsibilities, is appointed administrator of the parishes of Notre-Dame des Ardents in Boulonnais and Saint-Wulmer between Liane and Canche.
• Mr. Father Carlos FONGANG, priest of the diocese of Bafang with the agreement of his bishop, is appointed vicar for the parishes of Notre-Dame des Ardents in Boulonnais, Saint-Wulmer between Liane and Canche, Saint-Pierre in Boulonnais, Saint -Martin en Boulonnais and Sainte-Marie – Étoile-de-la-Mer.
• Father Frédéric BAGA BESSALA, priest of the diocese of Obala, is appointed moderator of the pastoral charge of the Saint-Jean-Baptiste parish in Pays Lumbrois, he remains moderator of the Sainte-Mère-Teresa parish in Morinie.
• Father Sébastien ROUSSEL is appointed rector of the sanctuary of the Notre-Dame basilica of Saint-Omer, he retains his other responsibilities.
• Father Ludovic MAKOUMBOU is appointed administrator of the Notre-Dame du Haut Pays and Saint-Pierre sur l’Aa parishes. He is ceasing his mission as administrator of the Saint-Jean XXIII and Saint-François-d’Assise parishes, which will end on August 31, 2024.
• Father Gervais IBATA OKOMBI is appointed pastor of the parishes of Notre-Dame Panetière, Notre-Dame du Rosaire, Sainte-Anne, Notre-Dame de Saint-Amour, Notre-Dame de l’Annonciation – which will operate from the 1st September 2024 as a single pastoral unit – pastor of the parishes of Saint-Jean XXIII, Saint-François-d’Assise, as well as moderator of the pastoral charge of the parish of Les Quatre Évangélistes de Thérouanne. He ceases his role as administrator of the parishes of Notre-Dame du Haut Pays and Saint-Pierre sur l’Aa.
• Father Gabriel PLANCHEZ, diocesan head of continuing training, is appointed Sunday vicar for the parishes of the Pays de la Lys deanery and responsible for the continuing training of priests. He ceased his missions as vicar for the parishes of Saint-Pierre en Boulonnais and Sainte-Marie – Étoile-de-la-Mer, and as priest “in solidum” of the pastoral charge of the parish of Saint-Martin en Boulonnais.
• Father Laurent BOUCLY is appointed administrator of the Saint-Éloi parish in Béthunois, he keeps his other responsibilities.
• Father Benjamin ONOGO NGOLO, priest of the diocese of Obala, is appointed with the agreement of his bishop, vicar of the parishes of Notre-Dame in Béthunois and Saint-Éloi in Béthunois.
• Father Fabian LENGLET is appointed priest of the Saint-Kilien parish in Aubignois. He was appointed diocesan chaplain of Secours catholique for a period of 3 years. He ceases his mission as moderator of the pastoral charge of the parish of Saint-Jean-Baptiste in Pays Lumbrois and as rector of the sanctuary of the Notre-Dame basilica of Saint-Omer.
• Father Jacques TANGOMBE is sent to study as part of a sabbatical year. It will be attached to a parish in the archdiocese of Mechelen-Brussels. He ceases his role as dean of the deanery of Morinie and the deanery of Pays de la Lys, as well as the mission of moderator of the pastoral charge of the parish of Les Quatre-Évangélistes de Thérouanne and priest of the parishes of Notre-Dame Panetière, Notre -Lady of the Rosary, Saint Anne, Our Lady of Saint-Amour and Our Lady of the Annunciation.

Complete their mission in the diocese this year

• Ms. Florence DUCROISET ceases her mission as a member of the diocesan continuing formation service.
• Father Vincent BATANTOU ceases his role as priest of the Saint-Kilien parish in Aubignois.
• Father Auxence PAYIMA ceases his mission as administrator of the parishes of Notre-Dame des Ardents in Boulonnais and Saint-Wulmer between Liane and Canche.
• Father Philippe DEMEESTERE, sj. ceases his mission as diocesan chaplain of Catholic Relief.
• Father Jean NDOMBE MBENZA ceases his role as priest of the Saint-Éloi parish in Béthunois.
• Father Célestin KAYITUKA MBONGE ceases his mission as vicar of the parishes of Sainte-Marie – Étoile-de-la-Mer, Saint-Pierre en Boulonnais, Saint-Martin en Boulonnais.
