In Chaumont and Saint-Dizier, the police recently intervened for intra-family violence, caravan thefts and drug use.

Thunderstorm after a rainy Sunday

Challenging weather Sunday June 16, in Chaumont. Around 8:30 p.m., a passerby heard an argument and alerted the police. The officials will in fact notice that a couple is in the middle of a conflict. The man and woman denounce violence, a five-year-old child is present.

The two companions are placed in police custody. The woman is left free at the end, the man is brought before the public prosecutor on Wednesday June 18.

Words on my neck

It was around 7:10 p.m. Wednesday June 19 when the police arrived near the Saint-Exupéry high school, in Saint-Dizier. A couple got into an argument in a car. When the woman got out of the vehicle, the man allegedly jumped on her and injured her neck. For his part, he indicates that it had bitten him… on the neck as well.

Criminal composition for both. The man and woman will have to follow a responsibility course to prevent domestic violence.

On the night of Monday June 17 to Tuesday June 18, two caravan thefts were committed in Chaumont, in the Vendue area district. Various tools were stolen from company vehicles. An investigation is underway.

With drugs after leaving college

Monday June 17, around 5 p.m., the police checked two young people aged 18 and 19 in front of the Louise Michel college, in Chaumont. Fixed misdemeanor fine for both, for possession and use of narcotics.
