Friday June 28, 2024, in the setting offered by the garden of the Livres in Room bookstore, in Saint-Pol-de-Léon, the name of the winner of the first edition of “Au hollow des mots” was announced, the literary prize from the Haut-Léon Community media library network. Patricia Louédec, coordinator, and Gaëlle Maindron, from the Livres in Room bookstore, collected readers’ opinions. They recalled that the aim of this prize was “to create conviviality around novels” and that it was the librarians who brought the prize to life in the media libraries.

Promote meetings with authors

Readers were invited to rate the books from 1 to 5. “Le grand succor” by Thomas B Reverdy collected 179 points, “A simple dinner” by Cécile Tlili, 197 points, “Gozalo and the others” by Bénédicte Belpois, 220 points, “You don’t know anything about me” by Julie Heracles, 295 points.
