Faustine Bollaert will no longer set foot in the cult TV game show on France 2. After having already tried the experience in 2008, in the famous Fort de l’île d’Aix, the 45-year-old presenter has repeatedly rejected new invitations.

“I am asked every year, and every year I say: ‘Not even in my dreams would I impose that on myself another time. Never again,'” she assured on June 29 on the RTL show, “On refait la télé.”

Looking back on her time on Boyard Land, the journalist recalled the episode of a “terrible” chariot race, during which she “took the circuit in reverse”. She then admitted that her children “still” make fun of her today.

“Even they tell me, ‘Don’t do that, Mom, it was too embarrassing, don’t do that,'” she said, shaking her head in imitation of her offspring when the subject was raised.

As for the only time she went to Fort Boyard, the host of “Ça commence aujourd’hui” mainly remembers screaming several times during uncontrollable panic attacks. “Will you let me hear the sound of those screams? You understand my trauma… I have a very bad memory of it.”

Although the adventure did not appeal to her, Faustine Bollaert still brought back a precious object to remember her visit.
“I stole a Boyard that I kept as a souvenir, because I always keep small objects, and I find that it is enough to prove that I went there,” she concluded.
