SOUTH KOREA – With her large, moist eyes planted in the middle of a cream-colored coat, she scanned the cars and buses after having made the round trip between her house and the city center of the small town of Gunnam-myeon, in South Korea. The fate of Pudding, a little dog whose entire adopted family was among the 179 victims of the Muan crash on December 29, moved the whole country.

As reported by Korea Time, the little dog lived with the oldest victim of the Jeju Air accident who was preparing to celebrate her 80th birthday. The man had embarked on the fateful journey back from Thailand, with his entire family including his 6-year-old granddaughter. Since then, it was the inhabitants of the village who, noticing the sad ballet of the little dog, continued to take care of her and in particular feed her.

It was ultimately the Care association that came to Pudding’s rescue. After contacting relatives of the deceased family, the organization took the dog under their wing before finding him a loving home

« We found Pudding sitting quietly outside the village hall. When we approached, she ran towards us excitedly, as if she was still waiting for her family », Explains Care on social networks.

The association also carried out health checks on the animal in Seoul, after finding that it had eaten foods that could be harmful to it, such as onions and chicken bones.
