Pascal Obispo is back for a new album. Far from commonplaces, he decided to produce more intimate, more subdued tracks. The atmosphere is jazzy with these silky brass instruments, this drums which concentrate on the brushes, these voices which are whispered, calm and never screamed. And, paradoxically, while the album exudes a desire for intimacy, the artist invites a number of female artists to support him in delicate duets. Thus, there is, without being exhaustive: Elodie Frégé, Zaza, Carla Bruni, Isabelle Boulay, Nolwenn Leroy, … All these voices mix harmoniously in a consensus of gentleness. Listen His Child Soul. The vocals are perfectly in place, the bass dominates for a carpet of softness conducive to the expression of guitar picking. The whole album is like this, charming, delicate, ideal for warm evenings, under a blanket!
