Saturday December 28, 2024, the association of Student Midwives of the Antilles-Guyana decided to offer gifts to children hospitalized at the MFME (House of Women, Mothers and Children). This operation was possible thanks to the support of executives from La Meynard University Hospital and major toy brands located on the island.
Happy initiative of the association of Student Midwives of the Antilles-Guyana, which decided to spoil the children hospitalized at the MFME (Maison de la Femme de la Mère et l'Enfant) in Fort-de-France, Saturday December 28, 2024, by organizing a small Christmas party with lots of gifts.
In addition to its objective of contributing to the well-being and success of its members, the Association also takes care of the popularization of advice on gynecological health. In its prevention approach, “contacting parents is essential”.
Aware of this role, President Kassandre Linzau and her Board of Directors, have worked hard to convince the hospital management and attract the major partner brands, in order to make the children hospitalized at two sites, Fort-de-France and Trinité.

This action makes sense at the end of the year. “It’s sharing and openness to others”by promoting the work of midwives.
You had to see the children's wonder. President Kassandre Linzau accompanied by Carine Chinon, the vice-president, Modia Lancry the treasurer and Soroya Labeau, the head of the partnership center, walked the corridors of the MFME, meeting the amazed young hospitalized people.
They went to intensive care, neonatology, intensive care, pediatrics, pediatric oncology, the kangaroo unit service and pediatric surgery, careful not to forget any of the little patients.
The association thanks all the actors who directly or indirectly made their contribution to the project, the major brands, the management, the executives and the staff of the House of Women, Mothers and Children, the communication assistants Mesdames Palcy and Antoinette for their help, as well as the staff of Trinité. Our Antilles-Guyana school is a microcosm of cultures. The solidarity that we are developing within it, and within our young association, we hope that it will benefit as many people as possible within the Martinique population.
Kassandre Linzau – President of the association.
And if the profession of midwife appeals to you, here is the procedure to follow in order to embrace a career, to give birth and assist mothers.
President Kassandre Linzau
