Adriana Karembeu gives a special place to love in her life
The subject of love particularly resonates with Adriana Karembeu, who revealed that she really needs it.
“Love does me good, I really need a lot of itstill today”she recently confided in the podcast Pause before blowing: “When I have it, I keep it”.
The former sidekick of Michel Cymes is actually used to long relationships and is not the type to string men along. Adriana Karembeu notably had a beautiful and long love story with Christian Karembeu. Married fourteen yearsthe former top and the 98 world champion still have a lot of respect for each other today despite their divorce and the problems encountered during their romance.
A breakup caused by a change of life
In an interview with Paris Match after their breakup, Adriana Karembeu spoke directly about how her story with the footballer had ended. In reality, sports retirement of the latter was the trigger.
“When my husband stopped playing, he started living at 300 miles an hourand I couldn’t keep up.”the pretty blonde then assured our colleagues.
“We got lost without doing it on purpose. We couldn’t find each other. (…) We no longer had a life as a couple. Let’s say that we have evolved differently and that we no longer have the same needs. (…) I preferred to leave so as not to ruin everything, not to damage our memories”.
Adriana Karembeu openly discusses Christian’s jealousy
During this same interview, Adriana Karembeu also spoke about the jealous nature of her ex-husbandaffirming from the outset that “it’s a question of culture”. According to her, Christian Karembeu under no circumstances wanted to be separated from his other half: “He always wanted me to do things with him and wouldn’t have can’t stand it when I go on vacation for eight days with a friend!”.
A way of being which does not seem to have weighed on Adriana at all at the time, quite the contrary. “It didn’t bother me because my whole life revolved around him”she assures.
