Five young people aged 17 to 20 were arrested this Sunday, June 23 after the burglary of the house of Véronique Rabiot, the mother of the French international, in Saint-Germain-en-Laye (Yvelines).

The criminals were arrested in possession of loot worth around 10,000 euros. Five young people aged 17 to 20 were arrested on Sunday noon in Saint-Germain-en-Laye (Yvelines), a few minutes after burglarizing the house of Véronique Rabiot, the mother of Juventus player Adrien Rabiot.

Police officers from the anti-crime squad were dispatched to the scene after receiving a phone call from a woman who had scared two strangers from her garden, near the house of the French international’s mother. They quickly arrested three suspects who were trying to flee by car in the area.

Thanks to the call from another resident, indicating the presence of two other thieves in the neighborhood, the police were able to arrest the last two thugs involved in the burglary of Véronique Rabiot’s house. The total damage from the theft carried out at the latter’s home has not yet been finalized but it should be communicated in the coming hours.

A known address on social networks

The two fugitives were nevertheless arrested in possession of loot of around 10,000 euros, according to information confirmed by the Versailles prosecutor’s office to CNEWS.

The scientific police went to Véronique Rabiot’s home to identify potential clues left by the burglars. An investigation was opened and then entrusted to the Saint-Germain-en-Laye judicial police.

One of the burglars questioned by the police during his interrogation revealed that the address of Adrien Rabiot’s mother was circulating on a Telegram group used by the thieves, according to Le Parisien.
