On June 23, the Île-de-France Regional Olympic and Sports Committee (CROS) took part in a historic Olympic and Paralympic Day in the run-up to the Games.

As the Games kick off approaches, events are multiplying. Among them: Olympic and Paralympic Day. Set up across the country on June 23, it was particularly eagerly awaited in Île-de-France, the host country of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. As the head of the Ile-de-France sports movement, the CROS Île-de-France was on deck for the occasion.

It was on the Multisport Ground of the Parc des Bords-de-Seine, in Rueil-Malmaison, that the CROS Île-de-France organized this Olympic and Paralympic Day, accompanied by its partners: the DRAJES, the National Sports Agency and the Île-de-France Region. President of the CROS Île-de-France, Evelyne Ciriegi was there, as were Cécile Nicol, regional academic delegate for youth, commitment and sports of Île-de-France, and Jean Dimeo, president of the Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee (CDOS) 92.

The Paris region sports movement was therefore united as a whole for this day where sport was in the spotlight. The participants took part in numerous sporting activities offered by the Leagues and Regional Committees. This Olympic and Paralympic Day also offered them the opportunity to meet high-level athletes… not forgetting the play “Boxing Shadows”, the perfect conclusion to this day.

At least for the participants, because for the CROS Île-de-France, this day was also the occasion to inaugurate the exhibition dedicated to Pierre de Coubertin, organized by the Family Association and the City Hall of the 7th arrondissement of Paris. For this inauguration, Evelyne Ciriegi was alongside Thomas Bach, President of the IOC, David Lappartient, President of the CNOSF, and Rachida Dati, Minister of Culture.
