Disappearance of Medhi Narjissi – “Not tenable and purely false”: Robin Ladauge (France U18) responds to Stéphane Cambos’ version

“Mr Robin Ladauge does not intend to speak in the media. His concern at this stage is not to hinder the peaceful progress of the investigations so that light can be shed on the faults which led to this tragic outcome.

In view of the virulence of the declarations of manager Stéphane Cambos – the stated objective of taking none of his responsibilities and of shamefully dumping himself on others – Mr. Ladauge wishes to react briefly, with the concern, above all, of respect for the pain of the family.

The manager’s version of claiming that the swim was the result of a single man’s decision, and that he supposedly stopped it as soon as he arrived on the beach, is untenable and purely false. It is appalling that it is relayed by certain media with complacency and without any contradiction.

All the material elements, which will of course be made available to the courts, attest to the contrary. Mr. Ladauge trusts the legal procedure to provide the necessary clarifications on the conditions of organization of this internship by the FFR and its leaders, on the decision-making process of the staff and the distribution of roles within it, questions much more crucial than that of knowing whether the role of a manager is indeed to manage.”
