Admissions assistant
The person holding the position provides administrative support to the OGQ Professional Affairs Manager including, but not limited to, the following activities:

  • Responsible for daily communication with members by email and telephone, for requests for admission to the Order, issuance of internship authorizations and exemptions, coordinates the payment of annual contributions, prepares invoicing to members, monitors reception payment, etc.)
  • Preparation of admission files, internship equivalence, and internship applications;
  • Ensure the management and documentary updating of files in the CONSTELLIO database, and Ensemble360;
  • Assist the professional affairs manager and the assistant to the Secretary in the preparation of meetings of the committee of examiners;
  • Attend meetings of the committee of examiners. Send results letters to members;
  • Write the minutes of the meetings of the committee of examiners;
  • Follow up on meetings of the examiners committee;
  • Launch the annual subscription renewal campaign under the supervision of the CEO.
  • Produce membership status reports at the end of the fiscal year and at the request of the CEO.
  • Occasionally, participate in the preparation and coordination of training sessions or other events for candidates to the profession, trainees and members;
  • All other tasks in support of the secretariat.

Assistant to the inspector

  • Collaborate with the inspector in carrying out the annual professional inspection program
  • Collaborate with the inspector in preparing inspection visits
  • Ensure the secretariat of the professional inspection committee
  • Be responsible for various reservations relating to inspections
  • Organize inspection committee meetings and ensure follow-up ​​​​​​

We are looking for a dynamic, meticulous, versatile, autonomous person, capable of managing priorities and having a spirit of initiative.

  • High school diploma (minimum requirement);
  • College diploma or registration in a university program in geology (an asset);
  • 3 to 5 years of work experience;
  • Excellent command of French, both oral and written;
  • Very good command of oral and written English;
  • Mastery of applications in the Office 365 environment (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

Working conditions and benefits

  • 32 hours a week, Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.;
  • Hourly rate varying depending on experience;
  • Teleworking possible with a maximum of 2 days/week, after the probation period;
  • 4 weeks of annual vacation; 2 in winter and 2 in summer.
