Wednesday December 25, between 10:15 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., a 43-year-old from Hérault who was traveling on his electric scooter, was discovered by a motoristdying on the RD 612 towards Cébazan, in the commune of Puisserguier. According to the gendarmerie, the accident followed by a hit-and-run occurred just before the junction leading to Creissan.
Rescued by Sdis 34 and Smur-Samu, he was airlifted urgently absolute by the Dragon 34 at the Montpellier University Hospital where he died.
Findings on the electric scooter and on the body confirm that a third party vehicle was involved in the accidentt and that the author fled. Clues collected on site are used by the gendarmes of the Cazouls-lès-Béziers brigade who are calling for witnesses to identify the vehicle “which must undoubtedly show traces of impact at the front, or even on the right side. . “He would have fled in the direction of Creissan or Cébazan.”
The gendarmes are looking for “anyone who witnessed the accident or who has information likely to help identify the vehicle involved or its driver” and invites them to go to the nearest gendarmerie or call tel: 0467009390 .
