A paid golf tournament for the Normandin Foundation!

It was under the honorary presidency of Bryan Beaulieu, of National Bank Financial, that the annual golf tournament for the benefit of the Normandin Foundation took place on June 6.

Nearly 200 players took to the Golf Du Moulin course for the occasion.

Thanks to the collaboration of Trois-Rivières BMW, the RBC Colbert group, the Charles Turcotte Group, the IGA Sabrina and Benoit and the Port of Trois-Rivières, the Normandin Foundation was able to raise $125,000 in donations, which represents the absolute record of the last 13 years.

In 13 years, $675,000 has been redistributed by the Normandin Foundation to various organizations in the region.

The organizations favored this year are the Order of Malta, the Fondation Jeunesse Mauricie Centre-du-Québec, La Maison Albatros, Le Bon Citoyen and Moisson Mauricie. The latter will in fact be able to benefit from the majority of the profits and the remaining balance will make it possible, as every year, to alleviate urgent crises and fill gaps throughout the current year.

Hats off to the volunteers who made the event possible: Carole Massicotte, Benoit Ayotte, Alex Boisvert, Stéphane Boisvert, Guy Gagnon, Jacques Groleau, Stéphane Boisvert, Bruno Turcotte, Francine Lemire, Bryan Beaulieu, Alexandre Fournier, Didier Perrot, Linda Cinq-Mars, Diane Leblanc, Valérie Masse, Suzanne Verner, Ariane Martel and Yves Joubert – sound system.
