What is Flavie Flament’s real name?
Born on July 2, 1974 in Valognes, Flavie Flament – real name Flavie Lecanu – grew up in Normandy. It was only in 2000 that her career took a real turn with her arrival at TF1. The presenter presents Stars at Home from 2001 to 2004, then Sagas or even Live my lifeIn 2009, she left TF1 “from a common agreement” and finally continued her career on RTL radio, where she presented the show D-Day Monday to Thursday dedicated to current events.
Flavie Flament, raped and victim of traumatic amnesia
In 2016, Flavie Flament released her book Consolation to the editions JC Lattès in which she reveals having been raped at the age of 13 by David Hamilton in Cap d’Agde. If the facts are prescribed, her word is free. The host suffered from traumatic amnesia, meaning her brain had buried the memories of the rape.
The photographer had asked the teenager to pose in front of his lens in the naturist area. “I was a kind of kid who thought, ‘I’m going to meet someone world-famous, the photographer of young girls in bloom.'” She says in her book: “I take pictures for him in his apartment and very quickly he makes inappropriate gestures and takes me into the shower.”
David Hamilton denied the facts until his death in 2016: he committed suicide by asphyxiation at the age of 83. A new tragedy for Flavie Flament. “JI was extremely angry when he was found dead.she lamented on TMC. He wasn’t even able to face justice.”
Is Flavie Flament in a relationship?
On the heart side, Flavie Flament had a publicized affair with Benjamin Castaldi, whom she married in 2002. Together, they had a son, Enzo, born in 2004. But their highly publicized relationship did not survive: “I found those years to be both extraordinary and whirlwind. The host is the mother of two boys. The first was born from her first union with Bernard Flament: Antoine is 28 years old and works as a photographer. The young man photographs Fashion Week, tennis players at Roland Garros, stars on the Cannes red carpet and artists on stage. Enzo Castaldi, 20, has chosen to pursue a career in music under the stage name La Zoz.
Motherhood helped Flavie Flament through life’s trials. “The presence of my children has protected me from many things, she confided to Paris Match. I had to take care of myself in order to take care of them.”
