Sainte-Croix-Volvestre. The nursing home was celebrating

The Sainte-Croix-Volvestre nursing home spared no effort to offer its residents an unforgettable party on Friday, June 21. Everything was planned for the pleasure of our elders and the guests present: decorations, music, costumes, make-up, gourmet meal, champagne… The cherry on the cake was an acrobatics and juggling show by the artist Victor Convers. The dynamism and infectious good humor of Kadiatou Balde, director of the establishment, worked wonders, as did the dedication of her colleagues.

Present: Jean Doussain, mayor of the town – who did not hesitate to take an active part in the festivities – as well as his team and the various local association leaders.

Aptly named “Résidence de la vallée du Volp”, the Ehpad is a public establishment, attached to the Communal Social Action Center (CCAS) of Sainte-Croix-Volvestre. The building was completely restructured in 2012 to promote accessibility for people with reduced mobility and guarantee the best safety conditions.

It welcomes people aged over 60, independent or losing their autonomy, alone or as a couple. It is made up of 45 single rooms and 2 double rooms with private bathroom. All rooms face south with a view of a green park.
