The French-language press: a pillar of community mobilization

Patrick Pillow, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Entité 3, underlined the crucial importance of the role of the French-speaking press in community mobilization and awareness efforts.

“We would like to thank the French-speaking press which played a crucial role in relaying our calls for mobilization and community awareness, helping to unite our efforts,” he said.

According to him, French-language media were able to reach a wide audience, thus amplifying the messages and initiatives of the health sector in French Ontario, this media coverage also inspired many people to become actively involved in the various actions carried out.

Two new directors on the board

Lucas Chartier, an emergency physician in Toronto with more than 15 years of experience, and Margareth Zanchetta, an associate professor at Toronto Metropolitan University with more than 20 years of experience in the health sector, were appointed as directors for a three-year term.

Their expertise in the health field aims to bring added value to the board of directors of Entity 3, by strengthening initiatives aimed at improving access to and the quality of health services in French.
