The Chief of Staff of the National Guard of Mali, Brigadier General Famouké CAMARA met the descendants of Boulkessi and Mondoro. It was Wednesday June 26, 2024 at the Place d’Armes de la Garde Nationale in N’Tomikorobougou.

Present at this meeting were the Deputy Chief of Staff of the National Guard, Colonel Mory SANOGHO, the Deputy CEM Operations, Colonel Mamady known as N’Fani DIAKITE and several other military leaders and close collaborators.

This traditional meeting of the troops following their descent from military operations aims to talk with the men who were on the ground in order to encourage them and identify any concerns. It also aims to show the recognition of the hierarchy for the work done on the ground.

In his address to the troops, Brigadier General Foumouké CAMARA said he was proud of them and urged them to redouble their efforts, courage and self-sacrifice in order to serve as examples to their brothers in arms. . This meeting was an opportunity for him to identify the concerns, questions, advice and recommendations of his men.

The Deputy CEM OPS, Colonel Mamady aka N’Fani DIAKITE spoke on certain subjects on behalf of the Chief of Staff and affirmed that measures will be taken to resolve these concerns in a short time. According to him, all concerns within the remit of the National Guard will be resolved very quickly and those of the General Staff of the Armed Forces will be the subject of correspondence to find suitable solutions. Finally, he reassured the men of the availability and unwavering commitment of the National Guard to support them.
