A 30-year-old man was killed by a stabbing weapon in Laval (Mayenne) in the early hours of Sunday November 24, 2024.
The victim lost his life following an altercation that occurred around 1:30 a.m. near a building on Place de la Commune, in the residential district of Bourny. An area not covered by a video protection device.
His twin brother also attacked
According to our information, it was the victim's twin who discovered his lifeless brother. He was also allegedly attacked by two men and received a blow from a rifle butt. He was taken to hospital and released that afternoon. The two suspects reportedly fled.
An investigation was opened for intentional homicide and aggravated intentional violence and entrusted to the interdepartmental judicial police service (SIPJ 49) of Angers (Maine-et-Loire). The departmental directorate of the national police of Mayenne was also contacted. An autopsy will be performed in the coming days. Police experts made the findings.
