The 1,700 m² of wooden slats on the Simone-Veil esplanade at the port of Vannes (Morbihan) will disappear. The construction site, which will start on Thursday July 4, 2024, will provide a long-lasting and secure solution, via the laying of granite paving stones.

It can be said without going too far that the slats of the Simone-Veil esplanade will not be missed by the inhabitants of Vannes (Morbihan). This emblematic place of the city, which runs along part of the marina, saw over time, a rusting of its 1,700 m² floor made of wooden slats.
