In Champagnole, there is no question of giving in to the gloom of this rainy spring. The municipality has just unveil the 2024 Estivales program.
There are great classics there: funfair, pop-up gallery, fireworks from July 14, Tram’jurassienne…
“Saturdays at the park”, new last year, are being renewed and a big place will be given to sport with in particular the passage of the Tour de France women on Saturday August 17, 2024 and the broadcast of Euro matches on a giant screen, depending on the results of the French team.
Many birthdays to celebrate
The summer will also be marked by birthdays. First that of 160 years of the Red Crosscelebrated on Saturday June 22, 2024 on the town hall square with numerous events: vehicle exhibition, radio PC, explanatory panels, emergency demonstrations, etc.
THE football club (FCC) will also celebrate its centenary Friday July 5 and Saturday July 6, 2024 at the Louataux playground.
On the program: broadcast of the Euro match if France is qualified and ball with sound system Friday night ; entertainment and gamesceremony (at 11:30 a.m.), gala match (at 4 p.m.), and broadcast of the match or ball with sound system for Saturday.
60 years since the Mont Rivel disaster
On the commemorative side, a tribute will be paid to the six victims of the Mont Rivel disaster through a temporary exhibition installed at the archaeological museum from July 2 to September 27, 2024 and 80 years of the liberation of the city will be celebrated on Tuesday September 3, 2024 with a ceremony and a ball.
