Expected by all lovers of the sea, the Brest Maritime Festivals are back from July 12 to 17, 2024. As the main partner of the event, the Brittany Region is helping to make this event a time of sharing and discovery. Are you coming?!

The port of Brest celebrates

The quays and port of Brest are being transformed to soon welcome more than 700,000 visitors and 1,000 boats.

Come to the heart of the Atlantic stopover to discover a whole range of maritime cultures and knowledge:

  • An exhibition “Marine energies, Brittany at full power” to find out everything about marine renewable energies
  • An exhibition on the future Brest maritime stationa major project to provide greater comfort and safety to passengers
  • A space dedicated to maritime heritage to better understand the actions of the Region’s teams

In the shoes of a sailor

The Brest Maritime Festival is also a unique opportunity to live an immersive experience during the event. We offer you the possibility ofboard a passenger boat to put yourself in the shoes of a real crew, admire the Brest harbor in celebration and the boats up close.

Pour participate in our competitionnothing could be simpler: come every day from July 12 to 17 until 2 p.m. to fill out a form at the “Marine Energies, Brittany at Full Power” exhibition stand or at the heritage stand (escale Atlantique).

A parade towards Douarnenez

The highlight of the event was the Maritime parade between Brest and Douarnenez organized by the Brittany Region will take place on July 18, 2024. Several hundred heritage sailboats will leave Brest at 7:30 a.m. for an arrival in Douarnenez scheduled between 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., depending on the weather.

A show that promises to be grandiose on land and at sea and which will link with the Douarnenez Maritime Festival from July 18 to 21, 2024, an event also supported by the Brittany Region.
