THE TRADITIONAL NATIONAL DAY PARADE
PRESENTED IN COLLABORATION WITH QUÉBECOR AND HYDRO-QUÉBEC
“A LIVING AND FESTIVE FRESCO! »

This year, Richard Blackburn was entrusted with the staging of the traditional Défilé presented in collaboration with Quebecor and Hydro-Québec. Distinguished designer and creator, general and artistic director of the Théâtre de la Dame de Cœur since 1978, he has designed and staged numerous memorable shows.

Taking a new route on Rachel Street, thus offering a touch of freshness to this emblematic event, the traditional Parade will display a festive bas-relief animated by human energy. He will perform spectacular scenes to the sound of music, a true Quebec symphony, composed of extracts from popular songs and which resonates throughout the Parade, bringing together all the participants and spectators in unison.

Much more than a simple parade, the Parade is a true living and festive fresco, an ode to tradition, modernity and above all, the joy of living that pulses in the heart of every Quebecer. The public is invited to let themselves be carried away by the music, the colors and the emotions, and to fully enjoy this exceptional moment of happiness and collective pride.

The organization of this traditional parade is made possible thanks to the support of Quebecor and Hydro-Québec. The National Day Committee warmly thanks them for their contribution.

“Every day, Quebecor actively invests in participating in the development of the economic, cultural and social life of Quebecers. It is with pride that we participate in the National Day celebrations in Montreal, a moment when our commitment to our culture and our collective history takes on its full meaning. », Expresses Pierre Karl Péladeau, President and CEO of Quebecor.
