Koekkoek, Diane (nee Goetz, nee McCullough):
Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at her home in Delhi at the age of 63.
Beloved wife of Len.
Loving mother of Cory McCullough (Angela) & Jenna Martin (Justin), Zach (Anita), Mishael and Allyssah.
Cherished grandmother of Treyton and Evelyn Martin and Brynlee and Emrie McCullough.
Dear daughter of Thelma and the late Walter.
Sister of Wayne Goetz (Andrea), the late Murray, Sharon Hunter (John) and Karen Goetz.
Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Diane retired earlier from a long career with the City of Waterloo, and the City of Kitchener.
After retirement, Diane was either spending time with family or exploring the world, traveling The Great Loop from Ontario to the Bahamas, on Greta Lynn, or cruising the rivers of Europe from Budapest to Amsterdam.
After spending several years managing Hope Bay Campground and travelling coast to coast on the motorcoach, she was never one to shy away from new learnings and experiences. Diane was strong willed & determined at anything she did and was a very active and busy lady, from making jewelry to sewing, she could do it all.
Through her busy lifestyle she always prioritized and cherished her time with her grandchildren.
Diane’s family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
