From farm to farm in Gard and Vaucluse (30 and 84)
For meet local producers and taste good farm products, don’t miss the 15th edition of Ferme en Ferme. More than a hundred of them open their doors to you between Gard and Vaucluse, with guided tours, varied activities and of course tastings. There are a few everywhere in our departments, to discover all weekend from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and access is free.
La Alès Crazy Run (30)
To eliminate some excesses while having fun, why not venture this Sunday to the Alès Crazy Run, ua 4.5 kilometer urban race in the center of the Cévennes town, with several releases of powder of all colors. The spirit is festive, you can come in disguise, it’s from 6 years old, but to register, you have to act quickly. Deadline this Friday. It’s 10 euros for adults, 5 euros for children, and it includes a whole bunch of equipment for the race.
The Read festival in Gordes (84)
Reading enthusiasts can attend the 2nd edition of Lire à Gordes, a book fair between general and children’s literature, with authors, meetings, and activities for children. It’s almost everywhere in the village, which, if you don’t know, is one of the most beautiful in France. So, a good opportunity to find out.
The medieval festival of Châteaurenard (13)
Finally, we go to Bouches-du-Rhône, a few kilometers from Avignon, to the Châteaurenard medieval festival, which takes place all weekend, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. In the program : workshops, knights in armor, music, a medieval market, and free entertainment, including knight fights and falconry demonstrations. But also concerts and fireworks shows. It’s for the whole family. Much of the festivities are free.
