Kendji Girac: his “suicide blackmail” in Soraya reminds Isild Le Besco of dark hours

For several days, Isild Le Besco has not stopped talking about her. The reason ? She published a book on Wednesday May 1, 2024 entitled Say true, published by Denoël. She talks about the violence she suffered throughout her life and notably accuses Benoît Jacquot of influence when she met him on the set of the film Sade. She was 16 and he was 52. She then wrote that he forced her to have sex with him for years.

Saturday May 4, 2024, the actress, now 42 years old, was the guest on the show C the weekly. The journalist Aurélie Casse reminds her that she also wrote this book for other women so thatthey manage to identify the traps of control and manage to free themselves from them. For his part, Isild Le Besco would have tried to leave Benoît Jacquot, but the latter allegedly blackmailed him into committing suicide.

For Isild Le Beso, suicide blackmail exists in many toxic relationships

It happens a lot to men who blackmail suicide.“, she said at first. “It’s always a double message: a lot of appreciation at the same time as a lot of crushing. This illustrates a lot of toxic relationships.“, she added very calmly.

Such a statement is reminiscent of the affair currently affecting Kendji Girac. The singer admitted to the hospital on April 22, 2024 after being shot in the torso. During his hearing, he admitted that he had shot himself to fake a suicide in order to scare his companion Soraya which evoked a separation.

Kendji Girac didn’t want Soraya to leave

I wanted her to tell me to stop and not to leave“, declared the singer, according to the words of the public prosecutor of Mont-de-Marsan, dated April 25. The investigation could thus be closed without further action since a “simulated suicide that goes wrong or a real suicide” are not criminally reprehensible acts, the magistrate further clarified.

And yet, for the victims of suicide blackmail, the repercussions are severe. It is not Isild Le Besco who will say the opposite, even though she would have been a victim for years.
