A team being absent, 189 triplets of the promotion category were on the breach the Saturday May 4 for qualifying zone events for the departmental championship.

HAS Figeac, THE 87 trios in the running fought over the 15 sesames brought into play while Arcambal 17 tickets were distributed to the best 102 training courses present.

The 32 teams who successfully passed the Saturday tests met on Sunday May 5 from 8:30 a.m. at the bowling alley Cahors to try to succeed the Cadurcians Jean-Claude Mas, Dominique Moulène And Michel Rouberties.

These final matches were played in parallel with the youth events.

On the sporting side, in the quarter-finals, the Figeacois team Jacques Lamolière beat Prayssacois Christian Munoz, Serge Lacavalerie and Jean-Paul Lacoste 13 to 7.

André Seigler and his teammates from Lamagdelaine beat Prayssacois Alain Chicquenoy, Frédéric Léocadio and Damien Gotto by a breath 13 to 12.

The St Germinois of Jean-Marc Escapoulade won 13 to 4 against Fontanes players Fabien Destrel, Clément Bogdanik and Simon Petit.

The Leymois of Matthew Moles took the upper hand 13 to 10 over the players from the Souillac Valley, Kévin & Jean-Michel Lafleur, Sylvain Cappelot.

In 1/2 final Matthew Moles de Leyme won 13 to 18 against St Germinois Jean-Marc Escapoulade, Thierry Mériguet and Fabrice Lavergne.

At the end of a balanced meeting, Jacques Lamolière and his team beat André Seigler, Éric Valette and Marc Rothdiener from Lamagdelaine 13 to 10.

The final saw Leymois Mathieu Moles, Ludovic Bach and Michel Pagès winning 13 to 10 against the valiant Figeacois Maryse & Jacques Lamolière, Pierre Dardevet.

During the small final the Lamagdelaine trio led by André Seigler took over a tired St Germain du Bel Air team.

Thanks to this success, the Lot champions will represent the Lot Committee during the French championship which will take place on July 13 and 14 in Castelnaudary.

The finalists and winners of the small final will play in the Occitanie championship which will take place on May 25 in Revel.

The scorer’s table for this championship supervised by delegate Jean-Paul Buri was held by Carole Delage.

The refereeing was carried out by Isabelle Greffier, Grégory Vynck and Sébastien Bouzerand.
