With iconic franchises like Harry Potter or DC Comics, with new original French productions, as well as major international sporting events, the new streaming platform Max, born from the meeting between HBO, Warner and Eurosport, has something to make people happy . It will be available from June 11 in France, we learned this Tuesday.

To be able to access the plethora of catalogs from HBO (“The Last of Us”, “Succession”, “Euphoria”…) and Warner (“The Matrix”, “The Dark Knight”, “Joker”…) and have the chance to be able to watch the highly anticipated season 2 of “House of the Dragon”, the series derived from the international success “Game of Thrones”, exclusively from June 17 or to watch the Olympic Games in full this summer, it’s on Max that we will have to surrender.

An offer with advertising at 5.99 euros per month

After two years of waiting, in March, the Warner Bros Discovery group affirmed that its platform would be launched before the Paris Olympics. And the promise was kept. After its deployment in several of our European neighbors, such as Poland, Spain or the Netherlands, on May 21, it will be France’s turn to see the new streaming darling Max arrive on June 11. The American group has finally announced the launch date as well as subscription prices for its platform.

Results of the races, three proposals: an offer with advertising at 5.99 euros per month, a standard offer at 9.99 euros per month and a premium offer at 13.99 euros. Three offers therefore, and a sports option for which you will have to pay an additional 5 euros, which will give you access to the Eurosport 1 and 2 channels. Except for the Olympic events, which will be available free of charge for all offers, via around sixty channels that will allow each discipline to be monitored continuously.

“Max will be available to the widest audience thanks to numerous distribution partnerships with the largest French players in pay television, mobile telephony and broadband: Canal+, Prime Video, Orange, Free and SFR,” said elsewhere indicated Warner Bros Discovery.
