“At Clariane, training is our social elevator”

Normalian, history graduate, Rémi Boyer spent a large part of his career in industry. After taking over the management of Korian in 2016, Sophie Boissard called on him to structure the human resources of the healthcare group renamed Clariane in 2023. Last year, the company achieved a turnover of 5 billion euros and employed 60,000 people in Europe. On June 27, Rémi Boyer received the HR Director of the Year trophy awarded by Figaro Emploi, Cadremploi, Morgan Philips, Fyte and Sciences Po Executive Education.

LE FIGARO. – The pandemic, the book THE Gravediggers . What did these two shocks change for Clariane? ?

REMI BOYER. – We have actually experienced three successive crises: the pandemic, the publication of Gravediggers which targeted our competitor Orpea but which brought shame on the entire sector, and, more recently, a funding crisis.
