JAKARTA – Nissan recently announced a price cut for the Kicks model in the Philippines for all its variants, which is said to make it easier for customers from all walks of life to purchase the crossover.

Nissan Philippines President Yasuhisa Masuda said the move was made in line with the automakers’ vision to transform into a sustainable and environmentally friendly ecosystem.

“This initiative supports our mission of providing innovative and sustainable mobility solutions for the Philippine society and is in line with the government’s vision of a greener and more sustainable future for the Philippines,” Masuda was quoted as saying by Top Korea on Tuesday (July 2).

In addition, Nissan is also offering a battery warranty extension from five to eight years with the purchase of this car, providing greater assurance for buyers in the future.

In the Philippine market, this model received a discount of 60,000 haus (approximately Rs. 16.7 million) for all its variants. The price of Kicks e-Power EL fell to 1.1 million haus (approximately Rs. 328 million), Ve became 1.2 million haus (approximately Rs. 356.5 million), and Gub became 1.4 million haus (approximately Rs. 412.3 million).

The price is listed as cheaper than the price in Indonesia, where the crossover is sold for Rp 519 million on DKI Jakarta road.
