Both a zoological, aquatic and amusement park, the Touroparc Zoo guarantees unforgettable adventures during the summer.

Founded in 1961 by René Livet, home to over 600 species on over twelve hectares, Touroparc Zoo promises to be a summer must-see. “A committed and recognized player in animal protection”, as it presents itself, the Romanèche-Thorins zoological and amusement park, between Beaujolais and Burgundy, promotes the reproduction of endangered species, raises awareness among the general public and finances conservation projects, such as the giraffes of Niger.

Open every day during the months of July and August, it will be possible to enjoy its extraordinary fauna and flora. Visitors will be able to discover the two museums present on the site, such as the Hôtel des Mines which highlights the local geological wealth.
