Abdelilah Benkirane presents her condolences to the King

Following the announcement on Saturday of the death of the Sovereign’s mother, Princess Lalla Latifa, the former Head of Government and Secretary General of the Justice and Development Party (PJD), Abdelilah Benkirane, presented his condolences to King Mohammed VI and the royal family.

In a message posted on the PJD’s official website, Benkirane wrote: “Following the death of Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Latifa, may God grant her His forgiveness and mercy, the Secretary General of the Justice and Development Party, on behalf of himself and all members of the party, addresses his most sincere condolences to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Amir Al-Mouminine, may God protect and preserve him, as well as to all members of the royal family”.

And to add: “We pray to Allah the Exalted to grant His Majesty and the members of his noble family patience and solace, to preserve his health and well-being, and to bless his long reign. May the deceased be surrounded by His vast mercy and forgiveness, and may He welcome her into His vast Paradise. We belong to God and to Him we return.”
