“This project is structuring,” said Abdellatif Maâzouz during the ordinary session of the Casablanca-Settat Regional Council, held on July 1. “It will improve traffic in Greater Casablanca.”
“This project is at 98% progressThe road was opened in its entirety, in the presence of the Wali of the region, [le 5 juin 2024, ndlr]pending the completion of the lighting works. The Taddart road now connects the green city to Nouaceur and the city of Casablanca,” he concluded.
This project required a budget of more than 200 million DH, of which more than 50 MDH was financed by the region. The other partners in this project are the Ministries of the Interior, and of Equipment and Water, as well as the National Airports Office (ONDA).
This dual carriageway connects Bouskoura to Mohammed V airport and industrial zones. Over a length of 11 km, it will help relieve congestion at the southern entrance to the city.
