Beaulon. La Montgolfière is preparing for the new season. The La Montgolfière theater troupe held its general meeting in the presence of municipal councilor Dominique Martin, representing the municipality, who was thanked for the constant availability of the village hall for rehearsals and sessions.
The activity report is satisfactory: the theatrical weekend in collaboration with the Hérisson troupe from November 24 to 26 was a complete success, with, in particular, the sketch evening which was a great success; participation in the town’s Christmas markets on December 2; season 2 of “Les Belles Sœurs” brought together a large number of spectators across the thirteen sessions and each time in front of a captivated audience. “We will have performed this play twenty-three times in total,” said Gervais Voisin, the president.
The financial report is healthy, positive and balanced, allowing the creation of new decorations for the future room. All memberships have been renewed for the future season.
Projects. Preparation, organization of rehearsals for the new play “Men prefer to lie”, by Éric Assous which will be presented in the first sessions in Beaulon at the beginning of 2025.
A second edition of the theater weekend with the Le Hérisson troupe on October 4, 5, 6 with a new evening “Sketches en délire”, on Friday 4 in the evening and two new amateur theater troupes who will perform for the first time at Beaulon, Saturday and Sunday.
The office was unanimously reappointed: president, Gervais Voisin; treasurer, Christiane Dumas and secretary, Yolande Roizil.
